Notice God's unutterable waste of saints, according to the judgment of the world. God plants His saints in the most useless places. We say - God intends me to be here because I am so useful. Jesus never estimated His life along the line of the greatest use. God puts His saints where they will glorify Him, and we are no judges at all of where that is. ~Oswald Chambers, My Utmost For His Highest, August 10

Nomads Welcome!

Last Friday Navchaa and Lida arrived from Mongolia! It was a series of supernatural experiences that brought them here, which is fitting, because they are going to the School of Supernatural Ministry!

One sightseeing day in Los Angeles before we drove them to Redding:

Gana's political candidate, Jackie Chan.

The Governator.

In front of Grauman's Chinese Theater.

Thank you to everyone who has prayed! Thank you to those who have offered financial support!

The Lord has been so good! Let us recap it for you, 'cause it's GOOD!

Navchaa and Lida, two of our church leaders from Mongolia, applied to Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry in Redding. They applied a little late and so we thought they might be on a waiting list. But, they got accepted!

Then they had to work on a visa to come to the U.S. Well, the Embassy said there were no appointments left in September. So, they had to give a special petition to get an "emergency appointment." They got an appointment.

For those that don't know, getting a U.S. visa from Mongolia is near impossible--especially for single people who do not own property and who do not have high-paying or powerful jobs. They applied in faith. And against all odds, they both got visas!

The next challenge was getting a flight out of Mongolia. Which, again, is not always easy, especially during peak season. They called the ticket company. There were no tickets available before school was to start. They called every ticket company in Ulaanbaatar. Finally one company said, "Well, we have only TWO seats left." Isn't that just like the Lord?! He saved two seats on that flight!

But, they still needed ticket money. They had to have it by a certain day or they couldn't go. The funds were just not pouring in. They kept praying and God kept confirming to them that they will go. The very day they needed the money a businessman from Singapore contacted them and wired them $1000!

We have been looking far and wide for tuition money for them. A few donations had come in, but not much. So, the day before yesterday I contacted someone new asking for help. He emailed back yesterday morning saying that his organization could do nothing and that he was sorry. Thirty minutes later he emailed again with a copy of another pastor's email (his own connection) that said they are giving Navchaa and Lida FULL SCHOLARSHIPS! And this on the very morning they were to fly into Los Angeles! (Thank you, Pastor!)

God's fingerprints are all over this!

Thank you for your prayers and for standing with us!

On Friday they flew into LAX. We spent Saturday catching up on sleep and then sightseeing a bit. On Sunday we went to Harvest Rock and had a great service. Right after church we drove them to Redding.

On the way Daja's parents met us. Their church, The Revival Center, had collected all sorts of wonderful things with which to bless these ladies--sheets, blankets, school supplies, coffee pot, a microwave, and on and on!

We arrived in Redding late on Sunday night and stayed with some dear friends, Emil and Geri Bachik, in Happy Valley.

Lida, Geri, Emil and Navchaa on the first day of school.

The next hurdle (but obviously not a challenge to God!) was to find housing for them. We spent all day Monday and Tuesday looking for a place for them to live that was both close to campus and affordable for two missionaries living off the generous support of others who believe in what they are doing.

We left on Wednesday morning, leaving our leaders with some other friends in Redding. We still had not found ideal housing. While on the road we got a call from a former missionary to Mongolia. He and his wife offered the ladies a room in their home--really affordable rent, utilities and internet included and close to school!

God's fingerprints again!!

If you were interested in financially supporting Navchaa and Lida, they still are in need of living expenses and rent money. If you would like to help them in that way, it would be greatly appreciated! As we can see God all over this whole faith-venture, we know that supporting them is partnering with God Himself!

Funds can be sent to:

It it always amazing how God puts things together! I'm glad we could be a little part of His work.

The pictures are similiar, but they are actually two different pictures.
