Tuesday's Prayers For The President--Send Him Dreams

(Because of a hectic schedule the Tuesday's Prayers became the Thursday's Prayers this week!)

There are many kinds of dreams in the Bible with many different purposes. It's interesting that God doesn't just send dreams to the just, but even to people that do not acknowledge Him. There are many examples in Scripture of ungodly leaders with whom God communicated in dreams:

~ Abimelech was warned in a dream not to touch Abraham's wife. (Genesis 20)

~ Nebuchadnezzar was warned in a dream about his own judgement. (Daniel 4)

~Pharaoh was warned about a coming famine through a dream. (Genesis 41)

~Pilate was warned through his wife's dream not to have anything to do with Jesus' death. (Matthew 27)

Pastor Che taught recently that there are seven types of dreams in Scripture:

1. Dreams of Destiny

2. Dreams of Guidance

3. Dreams of Instruction

4. Dreams of Correction

5. Dreams of Transformation

6. Dreams of Impartation

7. Dreams of Creativity

Dear God, we ask today that You send our president dreams--dreams of all kinds. We ask that he would have angelic visitations even in his sleep. That even during his times of intense busyness and stress when maybe he won't have time to pray or seek Your face, that You would be merciful and communicate with him. In Jesus' Name.
